XXIX Orienteering Event

What is it about?

In 1–2-person teams (up to 5 people for children and beginners), you will set off with a map in hand along a route to find checkpoints hidden in the terrain. It’s about hiking, not running – so everyone can try their hand, regardless of age or fitness level. Especially for beginners, we have prepared the TP route – for beginners, which will make it easy to get into this unique discipline.

The competition is the 5th round of the Lower Silesian Orienteering Cup 2026, so there will certainly be no shortage of excitement and sports rivalry!

Day's program

• from 8:30 AM – registration of participants and distribution of starting materials (at the base – Zespół Szkół Ponadpodstawowych on ul. Francuska)

• 9:00 AM – opening of the competition and technical briefing

• 9:30 AM – start of all categories

• approx. 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – closing of the competition and announcement of preliminary results

Participants can look forward to e.g. refreshments, a commemorative badge, diplomas, and prizes, and for the best club – the Mayor of Zgorzelec Cup.

Registration

By September 21, 2026, until 8:00 PM (the deadline for receipt of the application, not the sending) to the e-mail address: ubialach@wp.pl stating the number of people and teams in individual categories. The entry fee for all categories is 35 PLN. PTSM members, upon presentation of a PTSM membership card with a current stamp, receive a discount of 5 PLN off the entry fee. The entry fee can be paid into the bank account or at the competition base:
