About this event
Screening of the film No Good Men, Kino Junior, Be2Can.
The year is 2021, Afghanistan just before the Taliban's return to power. Naru, the only female camerawoman at the main Kabul TV station, is trying to gain custody of her three-year-old son after leaving her chronically unfaithful husband. Convinced that there are no good men in her country, she is taken by surprise when Qodrat, Kabul TV's most prominent journalist, offers her a job opportunity. As they drive through the city reporting on its final days of freedom, a spark ignites between them, and Naru begins to question her conviction: could it be that a good man does exist after all?
