Thomas is in for a surprise: Fresh out of prison, the shrewd real estate conman learns that he has inherited a house from his unknown mother – and it's worth a pretty penny. If he could sell it, nothing would stand in the way of a fresh start in Spain. There's just one catch: His half-brother Roland already lives there – with a stable job and Down syndrome. Thomas moves in and uses his entire repertoire of manipulative tactics to try and force his unwanted housemate out. But Roland proves to be strong-willed and counters Thomas's tactics with courage and passion. Slowly, he wins over his half-brother.
