AG Plus

AG Plus has been a driving force in Jablonec’s costume jewellery tradition since 1993, doing its part to keep alive a craft that put down roots in the region as far back as the 18th century. The company specalizes in precision handmade costume-jewellery blanks and glass buttons, with everything from first design to final electroplating happening under one roof.

The firm’s story is bound up with the golden age of the “Austrian California”, the nickname Jablonec earned as a glassmaking hub, and more recently the addition of handmade glassmaking to the UNESCO list. Another turning point came in 2003, when AG Plus took over the production of traditional Elegant glass buttons, bringing this one-of-a-kind craft back into the spotlight on international fashion markets. Today, these buttons carry the “Regional Product of the Jizera Mountains” certificate and fly the flag for Czech craftsmanship everywhere from the USA to Japan.
