Domov Harcov (Harcov Care Home)

Founded at the initiative of parents and friends of people with intellectual disabilities, the centre certainly filled a vital gap in local care. After all, before 1990 there were no organizations in Liberec providing services for adults with intellectual disabilities, the only choices available to families at that time either a far-off institutional facility or keeping their loved ones at home.
