Pecka Castle

Pecka Castle is widely known as the "Pearl of the Podkrkonoší Region", standing in the very heart of this beautiful landscape. Climb to the castle's viewpoint to see the central massif of the Karkonosze Mountains unfold in all its beauty before your very eyes, with the mountains of Sněžka and Černá Hora dominating the horizon. Then look west over the town of Nová Paka to see the hills of Kumburk and Bradlec and their medieval castle ruins. To their right, Tábor Hill with its small pilgrimage church, to the south-east Zvičina—at 671 metres the region's highest point.
