Kanitz-Kyaw Castle Hainewalde (New Castle)

Hainewalde Castle is a Baroque castle in Upper Lusatia whose history dates back to the mid-18th century. Ongoing restoration work is gradually returning this historic site and its terraced gardens and castle park to their former glory and making them an active cultural venue in the region.

The castle plays host to concerts, exhibitions, historical festivals, and themed events and organizes guided tours all year round. It is a place that combines architecture, history, and contemporary cultural life in an authentic historic setting.
