Kirche BertsdorF

The Protestant Church of Bertsdorf is considered one of the most significant sacred buildings in the southern Upper Lusatia region. Built between 1672 and 1676, the Baroque structure impresses with its spacious, light-filled interior, a richly decorated pulpit, an ornate altarpiece, and a historic Schuster organ from 1898. The church served as an architectural model for numerous village churches in the region and is surrounded by a historic churchyard with a Renaissance portal.
