Church of St. James the Greater, Česká Kamenice

Standing 46 metres high, this 16th-century church tower was once part of the town's fortifications, the place where the town watchman would warn residents of fires or approaching enemy troops. Today, the tower and its viewing platform draw visitors keen to take in the views, a tour also providing a peek inside the church itself from the choir loft and a few words on its history.
