Lausche/Luž Mountain

Lausche/Luž is a striking phonolite mountain that straddles the border of two countries. Standing at 793 metres above sea level, it is the highest peak in the Lusatian Mountains. The Czech side of the mountain lies in the northern part of the Česká Lípa district, while the German side lies in the southern part of the Görlitz district. The mountain is easy to reach along hiking trails from both sides.
