Jablonné Wetlands

Nestled on the outskirts of Jablonné v Podještědí in North Bohemia, the Jablonné Wetlands are the brainchild of Čmelák, an environmental organization. This picturesque sanctuary for humans and the natural world was once a neglected, overgrown site blighted by illegal dumping, but the transformation initiated by Čmelák in 2005 and undertaken with the invaluable support of sponsors, foundations, and hundreds of volunteers means that the wetland park is now a popular spot for recreation and relaxation, and a safe refuge for protected plants and wildlife. Come and explore the beautiful network of pools, wooden boardwalks, viewing piers, benches, and education trails.
