Nativity Scene Museum, Kryštofovo Údolí

Over ninety nativity scenes of various sizes, ages, and materials, including one crafted from olive wood brought in from Bethlehem itself. The museum is home to a permanent exhibition of historic nativity scenes from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, created by local artists from Kryštofovo Údolí and beyond, as well as nativity scenes from other countries. Although Kryštofovo Údolí has been a popular destination for nativity scene enthusiasts since before the Second World War, the Nativity Scene Museum did close for a while for extensive reconstruction, before fully reopening its doors on 2nd December 2023.
