Nová Ves

Nová Ves emerged as a village of forest farmers (Waldbauerndorf), likely growing through gradual settlement along the course of the Jeřice stream. The first written reference to the place dates back to 1464, when it is referred to as Nywensdorf. It was during this period that a mansion and manor farm were built in the village for Heinrich von Kyaw, a vassal of the noble Bieberstein family.
