Peru 1970 Expedition Memorial

In May 2010, a memorial cairn was built along the route of the Jizerská Magistrála trail where it leaves the stadium in Bedřichov to commemorate the tragic Peru expedition of 1970, when fourteen Czech mountaineers lost their lives during a devastating earthquake.
