Papírové náměstí (Paper Square)

The area around what is known as Papírové náměstí ("Paper Square") is actually one of the most valuable spots in the very heart of Liberec. Its distinctive, organically-grown urban layout is the last surviving trace of "old" Liberec — no other district like it remains in the city today. These days, though, it is little more than a battered shell of its former self, with barely any permanent residents left to speak of.
