Klitten Ranger Station

On February 4th 2026, the Klitten district office of the UNESCO Upper Lusatian Heath and Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve administration was officially transferred from SIB (Saxon Property and Construction Management) to Sachsenforst for immediate use. Together with its central headquarters in Wartha (Malschwitz), the administration previously ran two regional field offices in Friedersdorf (Lohsa) and Mücka. With the opening of this brand-new field office in Klitten (Boxberg), the previous office in Mücka will be closed.
