Sokol Hall in Příšovice

The story of "Sokol" in Příšovice dates back to the founding of the Prague Sokol movement on March 12th 1862, when the group held its third general meeting, followed by a fourth on April 10. And it was at that meeting they agreed to rent the Apollo Hall for 1,800 gold coins a year and chose their very first uniform. Following the example of the Prague unit, seven further units were founded that same year, in Jaroměř, Jičín, Kolín, Kutná Hora, Nová Paka, and Turnov.
