Sociocultural Center / Hafenstube Telux

Telux Socio-Cultural Centre (SKZ Telux) is located in the German town of Weißwasser (Upper Lusatia) on the grounds of a former glassmaking factory. This socio-cultural centre is an important regional hub for intergenerational gatherings, culture, art, and leisure activities. Its centerpiece is the Hafenstube, a cultural café and bar and the main venue for a variety of events, ranging from live concerts, cabarets, and discussions to pub quizzes. The centre regularly organizes a diverse programme of workshops, such as yoga classes, showdance lessons, and specialized meetups for children and young people in its modern shipping-container club. SKZ Telux works closely with local associations, schools, and cross-border partners, providing space for creative fulfillment and the development of civil society throughout the region.
