Srnčí důl Jablonec nad Nisou (sports grounds)

Set right in the heart of nature, Srnčí důl sports grounds (also known as Areál zdraví, which you might translate as the Outdoor Fitness Park) is something of a national rarity among sports venues. Built between 1976 and 1978 by dedicated sports enthusiasts who put in thousands of hours of volunteer work, the site is now home to running trails (including a 1 km loop), a softball pitch, and areas for high jump, long jump, javelin, and even discus and hammer throw. A nine-hole disc golf course has also recently joined the mix.
