About this venue
Head to the north of Bohemia to visit the oldest viewing tower in the Šluknov Hook—Vlčí hora viewing tower. Standing at an altitude of 581 metres above sea level, it looks out over the village of the same name.
Built from stone, the tower's battlement-like viewing platform was topped with a roof in 1909, taking it up to its present height of 16 metres. Down in the village, don't miss the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, dating back to 1870 and home to a fine Classicist interior, along with a memorial to the victims of the First World War.
