Zbiornik Niedów (Witka Reservoir)

Niedów Reservoir (known locally as Witka) is a charming man-made lake on the River Witka, originally built to cool the Turów power plant. Today, it also plays a key role in flood control and, happily for visitors, recreation.

Want to take in the reservoir's beauty from the water itself? Head to the village of Spytków, where you can rent a kayak or a pedal boat. One fun fact worth knowing is that there's a small hydroelectric plant right beneath the dam, generating 0.82 MW of power.
