ZOO Hoyerswerda

At ZOO Hoyerswerda, visitors can see animals from six continents up close – for example, sloth couple Carlo and Carla or Günther the armadillo during feeding shows in the tropical pavilion, as well as visiting Hilde, the tame emu, in her shared enclosure with the kangaroos. Spanning six hectares, this family-friendly zoo invites visitors on a journey around the world, home to around 1,000 animals from 120 species.
