170 YEARS OF GLASS AND LIGHT - SUPŠS KAMENICKÝ ŠENOV

The exhibition 170 Years of Glass and Light presents a selection of works by students of the Glass High School in Kamenický Šenov in the unique space of the historic Palác Liebieg garage.

As part of Crystal Valley Week 2026, the exhibition offers a look at the contemporary work of a young generation of glass artists, designers, and creators of light objects. Visitors will see works created at the intersection of traditional glass craftsmanship, original artistic production, and modern technologies, which now naturally enter the design and realization process.

The exhibition shows that glass is still a living material capable of reflecting the contemporary world – sensitively connecting history, light, innovation, and the courage to experiment.
