Crystal Valley Week

The fifth annual glass festival, titled "Connecting Cultures," will once again offer dozens of interesting exhibitions, outdoor installations, demonstrations of glass and jewelry making, a Crystal Market, presentations by master glassmakers and talented students, rides on a specially decorated tram, a Christmas house in summer, and many other glittering experiences.

From August 24th to 29th, 2026, Crystal Valley Week, the largest showcase of glass, jewelry, and costume jewelry in the Czech Republic, will transform Liberec into a living center of glass art. Beauty polished to the last detail will light up the whole city. A mosaic created specifically for this event will decorate the zoological garden. The botanical garden will become a place where the power of nature merges with the fragility of glass in the works of masters such as Miluše and René Roubíček, Jiří Pačinek, or Lukáš Jabůrek. The new exhibition A JE TO! by Maxim Velčovský will be presented to the public. The successful Lasvit Splash exhibition will also be on view. The phenomenon of the Czech glass bead, which has conquered the world, will be showcased through exhibitions and by representatives of a Brazilian indigenous tribe that has used this gem for jewelry making for generations. The festival atmosphere will be completed by Crystal Boxes in the streets, and this year, the Crystal Tram will hit the tracks once again.
