28th International Symposium of Contemporary Jewelry Turnov
About this event
In October, Turnov will once again become the centre of contemporary designer jewellery. The 28th International Symposium of Contemporary Jewellery will welcome ten Czech and international artists who, during their two-week residency, will draw inspiration from the local jewellery-making tradition, the landscape of the Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj), and the processing of gemstones.
The results of their work will be presented at the Symposion´26 exhibition, which will open on 6 October 2026 at 5 PM in the Treasury of the Museum of the Bohemian Paradise (Muzeum Českého ráje) in Turnov. The newly created jewellery and objects will subsequently be added to the museum's unique collection of contemporary designer jewellery.
This year's edition is part of the new ŠperkFest Turnov festival, which will connect jewellery, gemstones, traditional crafts, and contemporary design.
