A fairy-tale story full of imagination takes us to the painting studio of Hugo Pastelka, who has just finished a new painting. A painting that is different from all the previous ones. It is different, strange, distinct.
And that, just like with people, is a problem. Everyone laughs at it and doesn't want to accept it. And so our painting decides to go out into the world instead. But it doesn't have much luck there either and gets into trouble. The only one who can set it free is the one who gave it life. The one who loves it just as it is. The one who believes in it…
And because we are in a painter's fairytale, all sorts of strange characters appear, such as living paintings, the brownie Brushy (skřítek Štětečník), or the malicious Old Can (Stará Pixla); battles are fought exclusively with sharpened brushes, and there are colors everywhere. The fairytale also features music and original songs…
