A neighborhood of grand villas and everyday panel buildings with architect Michaela Říhová. Meeting point in front of the main entrance to Liebiegův palác – U Tiskárny 81/1.
This residential area is named after Count Christian Philipp von Clam-Gallas and was created as a prestigious surrounding for the chateau complex. The dominant feature is Liebiegův palác, a Neo-Renaissance villa built between 1871–1872 by builder Gustav Sachers for the family of textile baron Johann Liebieg Jr., which is one of the most magnificent historicist buildings in Liberec. The adjacent panel housing estate provides a contrast. What is life like here today? What is the history of these places and what is planned for their future? Discover well-known and hidden corners, various housing typologies, and residential open spaces. This meeting is part of a loosely connected trilogy. Participation in all parts is not required. At the end of each, there will be light refreshments to discuss the potential of the visited sites.
