On 26.09.2026, the funeral services department of Städtische Beteiligungs-GmbH Zittau cordially invites you to an Open House.
From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we will open our doors and guide you through our various work areas.
Our staff will be happy to answer all your questions regarding funeral services, cremation, cemetery operations, funeral pre-planning, as well as training to become a funeral professional or master funeral director.
Offerings in the individual areas:
Tour of the crematorium (duration: approx. 1 hour)
Experience a detailed tour of our crematorium. We will explain the process of a cremation step-by-step - from cooling to furnace technology and exhaust gas cleaning.Funeral Service Zilentio (duration: individual)
The main office at Reichenberger Straße 4 will remain closed on this day. At the premises on Görlitzer Straße 55b, our staff will inform you about the funeral process and necessary formalities. We will also show you the construction of a coffin, the clothing used for the deceased, and a selection of different urns. We would be happy to inform you about the possibilities of funeral pre-planning.Tour of the urn grove (duration: approx. 30 - 45 min)
Discover the park-like grounds and learn how funeral culture has changed over time. Our staff will also show you some hidden historical relics.Reading (time: 11:30 AM, duration: 1 - 1.5 hours)
