Flugge is a trio from Nový Bor that tells intimate stories cloaked in nu-jazz, connected with elements of soul and folk, through original songs, Czech lyrics, soft female vocals, keyboards, and bass. Duo Jarése presents acoustic folk with deep emotions that you won't get out of your ears for a long time. Their finely balanced mix of pop, soul, and the spirit of the blues creates songs with catchy melodies, a charming voice, and profound lyrics.
Flugge is an original trio from Nový Bor moving on the borderline of nu-jazz, soul, folk, and contemporary alternative music. Their work is connected by Czech lyrics, a chamber sound, and a feel for atmosphere. Keyboards and bass guitar are complemented by gentle female vocals, while restrained downbeat rhythmics let both the melody and the space between individual notes stand out. The music of Flugge acts subtly, but it is all the more powerful in drawing the listener into intimate stories and emotions.
In May 2025, the group released their debut album Nádech, on which they present their own original signature – a connection of contemporary jazz with song form, subtle electronics, and inspiration from soul and folk. Instead of instrumental ostentation, they rely on sensitive interaction, naturalness, and a carefully built mood. It is this ability to create a chamber musical space that makes Flugge's concerts an extraordinary listening experience.

Before the concert begins, the exhibition "Emotions in Mandava Jazz" by Rafael Sampedro will open at the Jolesch club. Music moves people. It awakens memories, encourages encounters, and evokes emotions. It is these exceptional moments that photographer Rafael Sampedro captures. The exhibition will present fifteen selected photographs from 2012 onwards and take us on a journey through the fascinating world of Mandava Jazz. Experience the intensity of the concerts, the passion of the artists, and the unique moments that have characterized this festival for many years.

"My fascination with photography began in childhood when I received an old analog camera from my grandfather. From that moment on, I have been telling stories through my photographs. Every photograph is a memory, a vision of a moment in my life and in the lives of the people I photograph. As a photographer specializing in reportage and portrait photography, I now use the most modern technology. I continue to devote myself to analog in my photo lab, where I can experience the 'magic' of photography."
