Historic Cogwheel Train Rides 2026

Experience a special ride on a historic train along the Tanvald – Kořenov cogwheel railway line. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, listen to the conductor in his period uniform share fascinating insights into the history of the line, and admire the views of the Jizera Mountains.

The Kořenov Cogwheel Museum is open during the train rides. Guided tours of the Kořenov engine shed are offered at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, where you can view historic vehicles, including the Swiss cogwheel train from 1912.
