A concert by the Aurea Rosa choir combined with stories of glass, glassmakers, and the mountains, presented by PaedDr. Jan Luštinec.
Where winters are long and nature is unforgiving, the most delicate art was born. The Krkonoše mountains and the Rokytnice nad Jizerou region carry deep memories of glassmaking families who were able to transform stone, wood from mountain forests, and wild fire into pure glass. Crystal is like an echo of the mountains—it is born in heat and sweat, but only reveals its true face when light passes through it. In the same way, human creation, hard work, and memories only take on shape and meaning when they touch something that transcends us.
