Now in its fifteenth year, the Křehká krása/Fragile Beauty exhibition and market lets visitors admire the stunning array of products crafted by Czech costume-jewellery and glassmaking companies. Visitors can also buy pieces from the manufacturers themselves at great prices, making the event a firm favourite - particularly with those who love a bit of sparkle. In fact, many regulars even get an August head-start on their Christmas shopping right here at Eurocentrum.
The open-air amphitheatre keeps the energy levels high with live bands every afternoon. Another highlight is the chance to watch the full version of the phenomenal "Made in Jablonec – Memories of the Future" fashion show, while the event also stages a multitude of creative workshops at which both adults and children can make their own jewellery, paint a Christmas ornament, blow a glass cup, or create a glass mosaic or artificial flower.
Tickets cost 150 CZK (seniors 100 CZK) and are valid for the entire duration of the exhibition. This means that ticket holders are admitted to Eurocentrum and the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou repeatedly throughout the event. Children under 15 free of charge when accompanied by a parent.
