O-SEE Challenge is an international cross triathlon festival held every year at Lake Olbersdorf.
The race is one of the biggest off-road triathlons in Germany and part of the prestigious XTERRA series. Athletes face a combination of open-water swimming, mountain biking, and trail running through the landscape of the Zittau Mountains. The start line regularly features both professional and amateur athletes from across Europe.
The event includes the main XTERRA races, triathlon competitions for both elite and amateur athletes, youth and children’s races, an expo area, food and drink stalls, and a varied supporting programme for visitors. The legendary Saturday afterparty - popular with both athletes and the public alike - also plays a key role in the weekend atmosphere.
O-SEE Challenge brings together sport, nature, and an international gathering in the unique setting of one of the region’s largest outdoor festivals.
