The concert is a journey through the greatest songs of this outstanding Canadian artist, arranged with great sensitivity and respect for the original.
The artists have prepared a program that delights not only with beautiful guitar arrangements or delicate piano sounds, but also with atmospheric backing vocals, giving Cohen's songs a classic, original depth.
They are the only ones in the world to perform the title track from the album The Future in Polish - in an excellent translation.
The legendary artist's songs will be performed by experienced Wrocław-based musicians: Janusz Kasprowicz (leader of the group Projekt Volodia, cultural animator, originator and director of many festivals), Stanisław Marinczenko (multi-dimensional musician, multi-instrumentalist - guitars, piano, accordion, mandolin, harp), and Bogdan Bińczak (hailing from traditional jazz circles, who supports the musicians by singing backing vocals and playing percussion instruments and melodica).
