Sýpka Lemberk is a monumental Baroque building located near Jablonné v Podještědí, in close proximity to Lemberk Castle, on a hill with a strong genius loci.
The granary originally belonged to the castle. It was likely built during the early Baroque reconstruction of Lemberk Castle, which at the time belonged to Albrecht of Wallenstein. In 2020, new owners took over the dilapidated granary and set about repairing it. Their vision is not just the restoration of the building itself, which preserves its architectural heritage, but also opening up and enlivening the granary by transforming it from a grain store into a storehouse of culture, art, and education.
