O-Ton Cinema: "Recipe for Happiness - Cooking Ukrainian Style"

Out of the work with refugees at the multi-generational center in the Hillersche Villa, the idea emerged

to show films in their original languages with German subtitles at the Kronenkino. These films

are very popular and offer refugees the opportunity to watch a film together in their

native language, and for other interested people, the chance to learn about the (cinema) culture of another country.

In this Ukrainian feel-good film about a young woman who fulfills her dream of turning her

passion for cooking into a profession, you will also learn quite a bit about Ukrainian

cuisine - and about Ukrainian humor. Doors open at 5 PM; before and after the film, drinks and snacks will be available in the foyer of the

Kronenkino, along with the opportunity for meeting and conversation, as well as

Ukrainian music. You are warmly invited!
