Viktor Černický focuses on interdisciplinary work at the intersection of dance, performance art, circus, and visual art. (We saw his chair-filled production PLI in Varnsdorf as part of the Tanec Praha festival). His new project is based on a simple idea. A pile of tires and four guys who are constantly coming up with things to do with them, moving them around, building, tearing down, and putting them back together. And yet, or perhaps because of that, it's such fun. It has a lightness and playfulness that entertains both children and adults. Simply put: An experience for the whole family. PNEU transforms an absurd amount of rubber into an unexpected playground, mixing strength, humor, and imagination.
