RE:TEXTURA – Vernissage and exhibition
About this event
We cordially invite you to the RE:TEXTURA exhibition, which revives historical textile patterns from Česká Lípa at the Linserka cultural and creative center in Liberec. The KARTEA project draws from a rich collection of over 13,000 original patterns and presents their journey from archival tradition to contemporary design.
The event program includes a vernissage and a series of lectures:
9 Nov 2026 (17:00-19:00): Vernissage, Rudolf Živec and Michal Panáček (historical patterns and contemporary design).
11 Nov 2026 (17:00-19:00): Erika Šamanová (150 years of SPŠ and VOŠ Liberec, visions of the future) and Jára Šára (glass and textile).
13 Nov 2026 (10:00-12:00): René Němeček (the future of textiles, smart materials and AI) and Rudolf Živec (the pattern as identity).
The exhibition is held at Resslova 271/8, Liberec and is the result of collaboration between several institutions including the city of Česká Lípa, the Liberec Region, and the Homeland Museum in Česká Lípa.
