SHTGN is bringing its long era at Lake Kristýna to a close, bidding a fond farewell to the venue after many years together. The very last edition of the SHTGN festival in its iconic lakeside campsite setting in Hrádek nad Nisou will run from 11 to 13 September 2026, but the SHTGN collective will live on, popping up occasionally to host new event formats in unique and unusual spaces.
Over its 25-year history, the SHTGN festival has been on quite a journey. It shortened its name, moved to a castle and back again, and weathered everything nature could throw at it - from tropical heatwaves and summer storms to unexpected snow and a flood that once forced us to cancel. Despite all these changes, though, the festival stayed true to its roots: no matter the backdrop or the weather, the music never compromised. This dedication built a tight-knit community of people who loved coming back year after year, giving SHTGN a piece of their hearts.
