SHTGN is bringing its festival era at the Kristýna site to a close, saying goodbye to this location after many years of coexistence. The final edition of the SHTGN Festival in the traditional setting of the lakeside campsite in Hrádek nad Nisou will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026. The SHTGN collective will continue to operate on a regularly irregular basis, focusing on a combination of new event formats and exceptional locations.
Over its 25 years of existence, the SHTGN Festival has come a long way. It shortened its name, moved to a castle and back again, experienced the most varied weather caprices – tropical days and nights, summer thunderstorms, but also snowflakes and a flood that eventually forced its cancellation. During this time, it has changed significantly in some respects, even though it has remained the same at its core. Because regardless of the festival's backdrop or the colors of the sky, there were never any compromises in the musical dramaturgy. Perhaps that is also why, or perhaps precisely because of that, a community of people has emerged who have always loved returning to SHTGN and have given a piece of their lives and hearts to it.
