What is Pročtené léto
Pročtené léto is a nationwide summer reading event for children and their adults. It helps children find a taste for reading and families discover great books for the holidays. Every year, hundreds of children and adults from across the country take part. Pročtené léto also includes so-called 'Pročtená místa' (Reading Places) every year, which offer activities and book tips on selected topics throughout the summer. The Czech version of this event is organized by the Mravenčí chůva project. It follows up on the activity of the same name led by the organization Krajina čitateľov in Slovakia. The main financial partner of Pročtené léto is the bookstore Martinus.
