U3V: FIGURES OF CZECH MODERN ARCHITECTURE OF THE 20TH CENTURY

Opening lecture of U3V.

The course will focus on key figures of Czech modern architecture and their contribution to the transformation of our building culture. It will introduce the work of architects who responded to new materials, functional requirements, and social changes in the first half of the 20th century. Individual lectures will offer an accessible view of their most significant projects, opinions, and work methods. The cycle will provide basic orientation in Czech modern architecture and help you better recognize its traces in the environment that still surrounds us today. Course fee 400,- Kč.
