Vernissage of the exhibition "The Supernatural in Art" - Bô Yin Râ.

November marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Anton Schneiderfranken (1876–1943), known under the pseudonym Bô Yin Râ. This painter and mystic spent his formative years in Görlitz, where he showed his paintings at his first solo exhibition in 1919 at the Upper Lusatian Hall of Glory, today's Municipal House of Culture in Zgorzelec.
A year later, he founded the artist association Jakob-Böhme-Bund in the city.
The exhibition at the Municipal House of Culture presents high-quality reproductions of canvases from the 1919 exhibition. The presented Greek and German landscapes become a space for pure meditation.
