We would like to cordially invite you to our 32nd festival weekend at Volkshausplatz and our historic parade on 28 June 2026 from Walddorf to Eibau. We would be delighted to welcome numerous companies, businesses, children's institutions, schools and clubs from our community and the surrounding area as participants or contributors to the beer parade in our district of Eibau.
Since 1993, the people of Eibau, together with all districts of the municipality of Kottmar, have been celebrating the exciting events of 25 March 1693. The historic exodus of the people of Eibau to the neighbouring village of Walddorf was the result of disputes over brewing and licensing rights between the towns of Görlitz, Löbau and Zittau and the reason for our historic beer and traditional parade.
