Maryša Vávrová is an attempt by an author who speaks neither the Haná nor the Slovácko dialect, so he will speak in his own way. So much for the opening apology to the Mrštík brothers and an explanation for all who love the classic Maryša.
The play, very loosely based on Alois and Vilém Mrštík, was prepared and is performed by Tomáš Hájek.
About the troupe For many years, Bažantova loutkářská družina from Poniklá was associated only with the overhead projector. And so much so, that they are ambitious enough to prove to themselves and the esteemed audience that they can get by without an overhead projector. Although, let's admit, it's a bit of a struggle...
