Dispute & Confidence - New Beginning: Opportunity instead of Danger? Let’s debate!

Streit & Zuversicht is a successful and popular debate format from the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS and Holtzbrinck Berlin. After an initial edition at the Lausitz Festival 2025, the format returns this year. This time, it addresses the following questions: Which forms of conflict are productive, and which are destructive? What roles do belonging, justice, and cultural self-images play when a region reinvents itself? And how do people ensure that transformation does not lead to a creeping loss of control?

Interactive elements give the audience the opportunity to help shape the evening.
