Bridge Park II

Think you know the city like the back of your hand? We bet these places will surprise you!

We are launching free field trips around Zgorzelec and Görlitz as part of the "Bridge Park II" project. Discover the green secrets of the European City of Zgorzelec/Görlitz with us under the guidance of excellent local tour guides!

We start on August 15th!

First up is a tour titled "The beginning and end of bourgeois gardens in Görlitz". On Saturday, August 15, 2026, at exactly 5:00 PM, Łukasz Borowczak from the Lusatian Museum will take us on a fascinating, two-hour journey tracing the public green spaces that were established in Görlitz.

Participation is 100% FREE, but places are limited. First come, first served!

What else is ahead?

The August walk is just a warm-up. In the coming weeks, we have prepared equally attractive options for you:

22.08 (Saturday) – The green heart of the city – we will learn the history of Zgorzelec parks and take a walk to the meadows by the Nysa river.

06.09 (Sunday) – Landskron Brewery – we will find out how the river was used for economic activities, and we will end the walk with a tour of the brewery and... beer tasting!

11.09 (Friday) – Nature in the green areas of Zgorzelec and Görlitz – an afternoon walk with an expert, Mr. Andrzej Paczos from the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History Görlitz.

13.09 (Sunday) – On the trail of former river crossings over the Nysa – a hike full of interesting facts tracing the footsteps of no-longer-existing footbridges and historical bridges.
