About this event
Guided tours start in May this year and visitors can attend every Sunday from 5 p.m.; capacity is 20 people. Tickets can be purchased/booked in person at the museum box office or via the GoOut portal.
The Karel Hubáček House has undergone another transformation; visitors will be welcomed by a restored fence with a new entrance gate. The building's interior has seen ceiling renovations and window refurbishment. Currently, partial repairs to the heating system are underway. Last year, we prepared a new exhibition for visitors, which forms part of this experimental prefabricated house from the 1960s, and which we continue to add to.
The exhibition concerns the original appearance of the house, its construction, and its gradual transformation up to the present day. You can look forward to period photographs, original plans of the house and its variants, as well as a new “opening” model from the architects and model makers at Ateliér vedle. A surprise is also a fragment of newly discovered decorative painting from the time the house was opened to the public for the Liberec Exhibition Markets.
