About this event
Guided tours start this May, and visitors can attend every Sunday at 5 p.m.; the capacity is 20 people. Tickets can be purchased/reserved in person at the museum box office or via the GoOut portal.
The Karel Hubáček House has undergone another transformation; visitors will be welcomed by a restored fence with a new entrance gate. The interior of the building has seen ceiling renovations and window refurbishment. Partial repairs to the heating system are currently underway. Last year, we prepared a new exhibition as part of this experimental prefabricated house from the 1960s, which we are continuously supplementing.
The exhibition covers the original form of the house, its construction, and its gradual transformation up to the present day. You can look forward to period photographs, original floor plans and variants of the house, as well as a new “opening” model from architects and model makers from the Ateliér vedle. A surprise is also a fragment of a newly discovered decorative painting from the time the house was opened to the public on the occasion of the then-Liberec Exhibition Markets.
