Discover the mysterious cellars of Turnov and learn interesting facts about the history of Turnov.
Join us on an unconventional tour where you will visit three cellars in the historic city center. First, you will visit the cellar of house no. 294, which currently houses the Administration of the Bohemian Paradise (CHKO Český ráj), but in the past, it was the location of the "U Českého lva" inn. The next stop will be the historic underground of the "U Bažanta" house, which is now part of the Museum of the Bohemian Paradise, and whose origins date back to the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. We will end the tour in the Žlutá ponorka Leisure Center building. At the beginning of the 20th century, there was also a hospitality business here – the Svoboda Hotel – and the cellar was an integral part of it.

The meeting point is at the Regional Tourist Information Center Turnov on the Český ráj square at 2:00 PM. Please arrive for the tour on time, ideally 5-10 minutes before the tour starts.
